This place is a top selection for a budget stay in Cabarete with a good price-value balance. The owner has plenty of dogs, which I found charming, though they did swim in the pool. Keep in mind that the rooms have no hot water for showers.

The recently renovated Double Room with Balcony struck me as spacious and comfortable. I loved the clean, modern decor, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, making the stay pleasant. The terrace provided a nice outdoor space to relax. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. I really appreciated being so close to the best pastry shop on the north coast, just half a block away from the hotel. However, I noticed some areas needing improvement. The bathroom in my room had no curtain, making it difficult to keep it dry during showers, and the water temperature was only warm, not hot. Also, the pool was nice but somewhat crowded with guests and their pets, which made me hesitant to use it. Despite these issues, the property offers good value for money and feels welcoming.

The bungalow had a great air conditioning unit and a handy kitchenette, making it a cozy spot to kick back after a long day of exploration. The flat-screen TV kept me entertained during downtime, which is a nice touch for those lazy afternoons.

i also expected a welcoming gift for my troubles or some sort of compensatory upgrade, but no such luck. how disappointing, really. i almost considered giving a good review, but just couldn’t.

el kaoba has recently undergone renovations, and it looks great! the double room with balcony was spacious and comfortable, and i loved the air conditioning. the location is fantastic, just two blocks from the beach and close to excellent dining options. the pool area has a nice vibe and is perfect for relaxing. don't forget to check out the sun terrace too!

Ideal for a chill getaway

The renovations really show,, the pool area looks amazing and feels fresh, and the staff is attentive and friendly. I loved the fact that you’re just steps away from a fantastic beach,, perfect for some time in the sun.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive,, but for the experience, I'd say it's still acceptable.

The bungalow was awesome! Air conditioning worked great, and I loved having a private bathroom. The kitchenette was handy, and my room had a flat-screen TV. The outdoor swimming pool looked inviting, too. Had a nice terrace to chill on, and everything was super clean.
